Congratulations!! My 25 years of midwifery experience has made it clear that feeling good about your birth depends a lot on the support you receive and the choices you make along the way. I will advocate for you even when you choose not to follow recommendations as long as you are well informed. I will support you to "hold the reins" for your own birthing journey. My goal is to make sure you are well informed and respect your preferences in every circumstance. I am a strong advocate for homebirth. I have attended hundred and have presented at homebirth conferences in New Zealand and in Australia. I am originally from the US and besides NZ, I have lived in Tonga, Cambodia and Mexico. I have supported women to birth in 7 different countries. I enjoy taking care of women from various cultural backgrounds and I am a "Rainbow Ally."

I live in Ōpunake and my clinic is at my house. I can usually do some home visits during your pregnancy and all of your postnatal visits are done at your house.
