My name is Evie Sefton, and I am an LMC midwife with Choice Midwifery in Dunedin.

As your midwife, I work with you throughout your pregnancy, providing care, support and information to help you create an individualised care plan that works for you and your whānau. I also provide your care throughout labour and birth, and for up to six weeks postpartum. It is important that throughout this special time you feel informed, nurtured and supported.

I feel passionately about antenatal and health education, informed decision making, inclusivity and supporting women and pregnant people to feel empowered throughout their pregnancy, birth and postpartum period.

I see labour and birth as an incredible and physiological event, and am happy to support women to birth at home or in the hospital, wherever it is that they feel the safest and most comfortable.
