About me
Kia ora. I am married to Stewart and have two sons Myles and Lewis. I come from the Hokianga and Stewart comes from Hamilton. We moved back to the Hokianga in December 2018. I am a member of the Te Ao Marama Midwifery team for Hokianga Health. I have been a midwife since 1989. My philosophy around birthing is one where the woman feels supported in her choices that she makes for her birthing experience. I encourage women to trust in themselves and the birthing process. We support women choosing to birth at home or in the Te Ao Marama birthing unit at Rawene Hospital.
