My name is Dee-marie Harvey, a local Māori wahine that grew up in Matamata but whakapapa to Te Tairāwhiti, and have been blessed with my 2 tamariki.
My midwifery philosophy prioritises compassion and integrity, welcoming each wahine, pēpi and their whānau with love, respect, and mana motuhake. I am passionate about providing care that values tikanga and promotes overall holistic well-being. My ambition is to enhance relationships between wahine and whānau and advocate for equitable access to maternity care.
