Ko Severine tōku ingoa. Nō Wīwī ahau. I’m originally from France and have lived in Aotearoa since 2008. Based in Palmerston North, I have a background as a core midwife at Te Whatu Ora MidCentral DHB.

I offer continuity of care to hapū wāhine / pregnant women and takatāpui hapū / pregnant people through pregnancy, birth, and up to six weeks postnatal. Antenatal appointments are held at our Pirie Street practice, while postnatal visits are usually in the comfort of your own home.

I manage a small caseload of 3–4 clients per month and work closely with my Positive Birth colleagues. I also collaborate with the wider maternity system as needed.

My approach is grounded in partnership, whakawhanaungatanga / building trusting relationships, and shared decision-making. I’m committed to culturally safe care, honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and supporting tino rangatiratanga / self-determination so you feel empowered on your journey.
