Severine Beneteau

Severine Beneteau

Ko Severine tōku ingoa. I am from France and have lived in Aotearoa since 2008 with my husband and three tamariki. My background includes hospital midwifery, wellbeing and fitness, and I work alongside my practice as a childbirth educator with Barnardos.

I believe pregnancy and birth are life events where every whānau deserves care grounded in compassion, equity, cultural safety and inclusivity, with partnership and informed choice at its centre. My approach is calm and unhurried, supporting whānau in their decisions.

Antenatal visits are held at Pirie St Midwives, and postnatal visits at home. Labour and birth care is at home, Te Papaioea Birthing Centre or hospital (including epidural care), depending on what feels right for you. I work closely with my practice partner Kelly Fage, my practice colleagues and other health professionals, including obstetric team as needed.

I offer inclusive, non-judgemental care for Rainbow whānau, neurodiverse people, and families of all cultures and backgrounds.

You can reach me by email using the form below, or send a text (text only) on 021 562 738 (021 LMC SEV). Please include your full name, due date or date of last period, whether this is your first baby, and your town. I will reply as soon as I can. Ngā Mihi
