Kia ora and congratulations! šŸ–¤

I’m a midwife passionate about safe, respectful, and whānau-centred care. I believe birth is a natural, powerful journey, and my role is to support you and your whānau. I understand that not all journeys are the same, and I support all women’s choices. Every birth is special if it’s a positive experience for you and your whānau. I’ve had a home birth myself and know how important it is to feel safe, supported, and informed. I’ve worked at North Shore Hospital and in rural Australia, so I am familiar with hospital environments. I work in collaboration with other health practitioners, for example obstetricians, and will refer you to the appropriate services to ensure the best outcomes for you and your pēpi. I’ve also attended HapÅ« Wānanga and completed a Tikanga certificate, which deepened my understanding of te ao Māori and the importance of culturally safe, holistic care. I bring this into my practice with respect and ongoing learning.
