Congratulations on your pregnancy. I am a case loading midwife that works with Cherie Carline in a shared care practice. We look forward to helping you along the pregnancy, childbirth and postnatal periods. We share a caseload and you will get to know both of us. Each week, one of us will be on call for emergencies, births and first week postnatal appointments, while the other is off call, doing all our antenatal appointments and postnatal appointments after the first week. This will mean you are very unlikely to have appointments rescheduled and have a refreshed midwife for your birth.

Birth Options is our place of practice in Porirua.

We have babies at Kenepuru Maternity Unit, Wellington Hospital or at your home. We do water births at home and at the hospital and have women who have had previous c/sections who may want a vaginal birth this time or an elective c/section after their last c/section.
