I am a registered midwife working in the Tauranga region. I was born and raised in Tauranga and have 3 daughters aged 22yrs, 24yrs and 26yrs.

I am passionate about midwifery and believe in a woman's/person's strength and ability to birth their baby.

I feel honoured to witness women/people become mothers, men become fathers, people become parents and whānau grow and bond during this time.

My role as a midwife is to work alongside each woman/person and their whānau to ensure the best possible pregnancy, birth and postnatal experience.

This includes working in partnership with other health professionals (when needed) to ensure a safe outcome for you and your baby.

I also have a particular interest in providing care for families who have experienced previous birth trauma.

I provide - Individualised care to suit your needs, up to date/research based information, Antenatal care, Labour/birth care, postnatal care on call until 6 weeks, breast/chestfeeding guidance/support, a few laughs and a listening ear.
