I am a midwife with a nursing registration for over 30 years providing primary and complex midwifery care. I have worked 26 years at Waikato Hospital in various areas and roles. Prior to that I worked and trained abroad.

It would be my privilege to work in partnership with you and your support persons/whānau at this exciting time, ensuring a safe outcome for you and your baby.

I would love to be part of your journey, providing you with holistic care and information about pregnancy, birth and post birth period. My clinic is at River Ridge Birth Centre. My wish is to help you determine the path that best suits your situation and culture.

I support birth at home, birth centre or when needed, at Waikato Hospital. From January 2026, Fiona Hermann will be my midwifery partner and will provide back-up as needed. I will care for you in your journey to give you the best quality care you deserve. I cover Hamilton and surrounding areas, depending on location.
