Congratulations on your pregnancy. I am Carolyn a registered midwife from Northern Ireland, and have been a midwife in NZ for 18 years at Palmerston North Hospital. I have decided to take the opportunity to become an LMC midwife. My joy as a midwife is seeing a woman become a mother and a couple become parents. I work with Lesa Haynes. Our shared philosophy is to work in partnership with you and your whānau throughout your pregnancy in a supportive role. I aim to minimise intervention, helping you achieve a rewarding birth experience and care for you for up to six weeks posnatally, and offer care at Home, Te Papaoiea and hospital.
