Congratulations on your pregnancy!

My name is Caity. I’m a registered midwife in Timaru, caring for families across South Canterbury. As a mum of two, I feel very privileged to support women and their whānau through pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks with their baby. My aim is to provide personalised, evidence-based care so you feel informed, supported, and confident throughout your journey.

I believe every pregnancy is unique, so I take the time to get to know you and tailor your care to your individual needs and preferences. I work closely with my practice partner, Nicole Hight, and collaborate with other local LMC midwives, as well as GPs and the obstetric and paediatric teams to ensure seamless care.

I support normal birth, birth with epidurals, inductions, VBAC, and caesarean sections at Timaru Hospital. I enjoy building supportive relationships with the families I care for and walking alongside you during such an important time. At this stage, I do not offer home birth care.

My antenatal clinic days are Tuesdays/Thursdays, held at Level 2, 5a George Street, Timaru. Please note the clinic is accessed via two flights of stairs. If accessibility is a concern, I’m more than happy to arrange an alternative location that better suits your needs. I cover all of Timaru and surrounding areas. Please note: I am currently on maternity leave until late June 2026, so I won’t be providing LMC care until then. I’m happy to receive enquiries from those due from July onwards, I can help organise alternative antenatal care in the meantime so you feel supported until I return.
