Kia Ora and congratulations on your pregnancy. My name is Ayla Witehira I’m a registered midwife based here in Whangārei. I grew up in the heart of my Iwi, Ngāti Wai, and my connection and love for midwifery runs deep. I will always aim to do my best to ensure a positive pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatal experience. As we connect and create a partnership, I will provide evidence-based, up to date care, individualising it to suit you and your whānau. I am approachable, open, caring and respectful. The journey of pregnancy and becoming parents is an exciting time and it is an honour and a privilege to be a Midwife.
