About me
Kia ora and congratulations on your pregnancy! My philosophy is simple but wholehearted — I believe in working alongside whānau with honesty, care, and respect. Midwifery is a privilege, and I feel honoured to walk beside people on their journey.
While studying midwifery, I welcomed my own baby in my final year. This experience gave me an understanding of pregnancy and birth, adding new layers of empathy and compassion to my practice. Since graduating in 2024, I have worked as a hospital midwife in Taranaki, gaining valuable skills and experience. My style is down-to-earth, and committed to creating an environment where you feel safe, supported, and truly heard.
I am part of the Connected Midwifery team, working alongside Chloe, Megan, and Danette to support whanau across Taranaki. We feel passionate about providing informed care and creating space for people to feel empowered in their choices. If you’re looking for a relaxed, approachable midwife to support you, I’d love to connect.
You can make contact with me by completing the form below or emailing antoinette@connectedmidwifery.co.nz. If you could please share the first day/date of your last period, what number baby this is for you, area you live in and share a little bit about yourself. I will get back to you when I can.
