Congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Alisha Winstanley and I am a registered midwife based on the North Shore of Auckland. My philosophy around pregnancy and childbirth is that it is a normal life event and that all women should feel safe and empowered during their experience. My role as a midwife is to walk alongside you in your journey, assisting you in making informed decisions about your body, pregnancy, birth and baby when they arrive. I can provide care to women who are having an entirely normal, low risk pregnancy, as well as those who have more complex requirements including pre-existing medical conditions, or conditions that arise during pregnancy. I am happy to care for women that require or want a planned caesarean section.
