Kai ora/ Hello.

I have been a midwife for over 30 years.

I am living in Cheviot and work alongside my midwife colleague Janaya Coxon.

I will be providing midwifery care for women in the Kaikoura area and also for women in the upper Hurunui.

I have a background of home birthing and primary care birthing units.

I completed my initial midwifery education and registration in the UK and worked briefly in hospitals in Oxfordshire and London before working in a Home Birth Practice in North and greater London.

I returned home in 1997 and for 18 years I worked in the East of Christchurch and North Canterbury. I moved to Australia for 10 years continuing to work in a variety of midwifery positions before returning to Aotearoa/NZ in July 2025 and moving back to North Canterbury this year.

I am passionate about you having the best birth for you. Your care will be based around your needs/wishes and within a framework of evidence based care, local and national guidelines.
