My name is Abbie and I’m a Lead Maternity Carer (LMC) based in the beautiful Wellington region. I feel truly honoured to walk alongside wāhine and whānau throughout one of life’s most profound journeys — from early pregnancy, through birth, and into those precious first weeks with your pēpi.

Midwifery for me is about partnership, respect, and empowerment. I believe that you and your support people are the experts in your own life, and my role is to share evidence-based information, listen deeply, and support your choices with compassion and integrity. I’ll work with you to tailor care that aligns with your values, culture, and goals.

I offer continuity of care — meeting with you throughout pregnancy, being present for your labour and birth, and supporting you in those early weeks postpartum. I value building strong and trusting relationships, and I’m here to advocate for your wellbeing every step of the way.
