About me
I currently work as a Midwife at Heretaunga Midwifery Centre. I have been an LMC midwife since 2002 and have four adult children.
Prior to Midwifery, I was working as a Plunket Nurse and then as a Tamariki Ora Nurseas Whakapai Hauora. I have worked at Palmerston North Hospital in ICU, CCU and detox as a Registered Nurse.
My midwifery philosophy is grounded in continuity of care. If required, I work with our obstetric colleagues to provide care that is right for you and your baby throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey.
For antenatal care I have a clinic day all day Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at our Heretaunga Street clinic. After the birth of your baby, I will come see you in your home.
On my cellphone, non-urgent calls 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
Urgent midwifery care is provided 24/7 contact via cellphone. Please do not text for urgent calls.
