Hi there congratulations on your pregnancy - what an exciting time in your life!

I am a midwife who has been working in Hamilton for 6 years, running my clinic from "Midwives by Chartwell". I feel privileged to be able to provide individualised care to women and their whānau throughout pregnancy, labour&birth, and in the postnatal period. I believe in women's abilities to grow, birth and nourish their babies as normal physiological parts of life. As such, I will support you to birth at home, a birth centre or hospital (wherever you feel most comfortable). As a midwife, it is my role to help provide you with informed choice and consent, advocate for and support your needs, share information and help you to feel empowered in your unique journey.

I am lucky enough to have 4 children of my own & work with an amazing midwifery partner Legend Matetaka-Ormsby where we provide support/time off to each other to maintain sustainability in this busy work!
