About me
Kia ora,
I'm a Māori and Samoan midwife who grew up in Te Tai Tokerau (Northland) and am passionate about providing caring, relationship-based maternity care for women and whānau.
I have experience working at Auckland City Hospital, supporting whānau with high-risk pregnancies and complex births, but my heart has always been in primary midwifery. I love getting to know the whānau I care for and supporting them throughout their hapūtanga (pregnancy) journey.
I believe in our body's natural ability to birth and that every whānau deserves to feel informed, supported, and confident in the choices they make. My aim is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel listened to, respected, and embodied in your power every step of the way.
I am available to attend births at home, Bay of Islands Maternity Unit, or at Whangarei Hospital if medically indicated.
It would be a privilege to support you and your whānau during such a special time.
