About me
Congratulations on your pregnancy!
My name is Emily, and I am an LMC based in Counties Manukau. Originally from Dunedin I completed my degree at Otago Polytechnic and then moved to Auckland to start my career as a midwife!
I worked at Middlemore Hospital birthing unit for 3 years before becoming an LMC. During my time as a hospital midwife, I looked after both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies and I look forward to continuing to provide safe care for women and whānau in my care.
My priority as your midwife is to provide individualised education and information so you can confidently make informed choices for you and your pēpi. Safe practice, trustworthy partnerships and the protection of women, pēpi and whānau in my care is my top priority!
As your LMC I will work in partnership with you and your whānau throughout your pregnancy, labour, birth and for 6 weeks postnatally.
My practice partner is Rickilee Kira, she has been a midwife for 6 years and has worked both at Middlemore Hospital and in the community as an LMC.
Our clinics are every Thursday at Hoteo Avenue, Papatoetoe.
