I'm Abi, a midwife based in North Canterbury and Ōtautahi. I am hugely passionate about ensuring that the care you receive is respectful, inclusive and grounded in trust, safety and aroha.

I believe deeply in the strength, wisdom, and capability of wāhine and their whānau and that your journey is exactly that, yours. I work in a supportive practice - Birth Journey Midwives - and I am lucky to have two wonderful practice partners.

I value partnership and see my role as walking alongside you with calm, evidence-based care throughout pregnancy, birth and up to six weeks postpartum.

As a mum myself I understand how unique and personal this journey can be and I am committed to supporting you in a way that feels safe, respectful and right for you.

I have clinics on Monday mornings in Cranford Street and on Tuesdays at Rangiora Health Hub.
