Hello and congratulations on your pregnancy!

My name is Tayla. I am currently in my first year of practice as a new graduate midwife, well supported by my mentor and peers. I provide care antenatally, during labour and birth, and up to 4-6 weeks postnatally.

My role as a midwife is to guide and support you along this journey, providing individualised care that supports the needs and wishes of you and your whānau. I provide up to date and evidence-based information, so that you can feel empowered to make informed choices that work best for you and your baby. Together, we share the goal of a safe and positive outcome for you and your baby. I work closely alongside other health care professionals, should anything deviate from normal at any stage.

I currently support births at Bethlehem Birthing Centre and Tauranga Hospital.
