Kia Ora!

My name is Julia and I am thrilled to work as an LMC in Whakatāne alongside Emma, my midwifery partner. I aim to have a small caseload of pregnant women to offer a good continuity of care through one of life´s most precious and transformative experiences.

I am originally from Germany but am now blessed to call Aotearoa home. My dream of becoming a midwife was fulfilled in 2017, graduating and continuing to further my education with a master’s degree.

I get a real buzz working alongside mums-to-be, prioritising your emotional well-being throughout the childbearing journey along into motherhood. I will use my professional knowledge to empower you alongside giving you and your family the utmost of care.

Outside of midwifery, I recharge through outdoor activities and time in nature. My young family and I live in Thornton and enjoy a raft of activities including hiking, snorkelling and camping.
