Working as a midwife is an honour and life affirming work. What women can achieve with knowledge, good nutrition, trust and support is truly a miracle! My practice is research and evidence based, tempered with good common sense and patience.

It has been my pleasure to work with women and families since graduating in 2006. I have worked as a midwife in a variety of settings and now enjoy working as a midwife in my home town Raglan. How amazing it is to see children that I have cared for running about playing and even learning to surf!!

I care for women throughout pregnancy, birth and up to six weeks postpartum. I have chosen to specialise in caring for women who choose to birth as naturally as possible. Generally this is at home or at one of the local birth centres in Hamilton such as Waterford Birth Centre or River Ridge Birth Centre. I also have a hospital access agreement for women needing to birth in hospital.
