I am whāngai raised by my nan and koro right here in Māngere Bridge. I absolutely love caring for whānau Māori in South Auckland and I value spending time with whānau as they welcome their whakapapa. I have three tamariki and whānau is a very important part of life for me.

As Kahu Pōkai we aim to walk alongside whānau during this special time. Whakawhanaungatanga leads our first hui so that we can hononga ensuring that you and your pēpē receive the best care possible. I specialise in primary care which means I manaaki māmā through a healthy and natural approach throughout hapūtanga. I enjoy supporting whānau to find their own strengths whilst upholding your mana at either Home, Botany Downs Birthing Unit or Middlemore Hospital.

Tikanga and matauranga navigate and inform us throughout. This grounding encourages the remembering and revitalisation of tikanga Māori birthing.
