About me
Tēnā koe and congratulations on your hapūtanga!
Ko NgāPuhi, Te Ātihaunui-a-Pāpārangi, Ngāti Rangi, ko Ngāti Tuwharetoa hoki ngā iwi. Ko Shardae Kareko ahau.
I provide continuity of care throughout hapūtanga, labour/birth and 5-6 weeks postnatally. I will work in partnership with you and your whānau in order to provide mana enhancing, safe and positive midwifery care. I am passionate about improving health outcomes and experiences for whānau Māori and because of this I will be prioritising care for these whānau.
I am part of Awatai Midwives, working alongside Stevie Love, Tyla Paaka-Warren, Kizzi Metcalfe and Rachel Perese. Our clinic is based in Waiwhetu and my clinic days are usually Tuesdays.
