Kia ora Queenstown families, and congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Mikkayla, and I have been practising in the area since 2016. I am passionate about providing comprehensive maternity care under the New Zealand LMC model, which offers continuity of care throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postnatal journey.

I care for both low- and high-risk pregnancies, supporting families with woman-centred, evidence-based, and sustainable care. My approach is holistic, collaborating with a network of professionals such as obstetricians, GPs, physios, naturopaths, osteopaths, and mental health specialists, to ensure your unique needs are met. I am committed to ongoing professional development, keeping up-to-date with the latest research and clinical practices, as well as complementary holistic practices. I hold additional certification in obstetric acupressure and needling, as well as calm birth.

We are the only team in the area who provide intrapartum care in both Queenstown and Invercargill.

As I’m about to welcome my second little one, I take a limited caseload. However, I take additional clients for partial pregnancy care if you are planning to move out of the area, birth elsewhere, or have an elective caesarean section. Out of work, you'll find me in the mountains with my family- biking, snowboarding, hiking, or running.
