Kia Ora. I spent the early years of my career in Nursing. Working in Surgical, High Dependency and Oncology Units before training in my lifelong passion of Midwifery. Over the last 16 years I've held many different roles across the Midwifery scope, including: Community Midwife for the DHB; Teaching Antenatal Classes both with Adults and at the Teen School; Employed core Midwife in Post Natal and Birthing Suite at Whangarei Hospital; LMC with Team Midwives and locum work for other Midwives. Due to the most wonderful experience growing my own 3 boys, I have an innate understanding of what women and their families go through during this precious time. I am truly passionate about Midwifery, and am lucky to have a job that I love. It is a privilege to be able to share this special time in people’s lives with them. I'm looking forward to this new role in M3 sharing a caseload with Ayla Witehira.
