Choosing the right people around u at this special time is an important part of the journey.
I am a UK trained midwife, and a hypnobirthing practitioner. I graduated as a midwife in 2001. Over the years I have been lucky to work in both high risk and homebirth settings. I am a mum of 3, and in 2007 my family and I moved to NZ from the UK.
I provide shared care with Averil Stacey-Hudson.
We are privileged to support women to have as positive a child bearing year as possible. Advocacy is an important midwifery role to help women choose what they feel is right for them. We attend many home and birth centre births and prefer to work with women planning to birth out of hospital. If circumstances change we will support women in hospital with the hospital team as much as possible.
I hold diplomas in aromatherapy and reflexology, and work with families in a holistic way. I am a trained hypnobirthing practioner and an advanced life coach. All of these services are part of my free LMC care on a needs basis.
