Welcome to this page. Perhaps you are pregnant or planning on being pregnant.
I started off as a registered nurse 28 years ago, had my first child and was so amazed and empowered by this experience that I followed the passion that was awakened in me and have continued to do so for 24 years.
I have worked as both a primary Lead Maternity Carer and a hospital secondary care midwife.
I will provide antenatal care at a clinic working out of Te Aroha Noa, labour and birth care at Palmerston North Hospital, and postnatal care at home. I will be available to look after 4-6 birthing women a month and hold the necessary certifications for providing epidural pain relief in labour should it be necessary.
If you live in an outlying area and you have reasons to birth in a secondary care unit then I am happy to work in with your local rural midwife to provide labour only care.
My practice partner is Melanie Collins
