Jess Tombs

Mamaku Midwives

About Me

Kia ora and congratulations on your pregnancy. I’m Jess (pronouns: she/her), I'm an LMC midwife and member of Mamaku Midwives, a group based in Lower Hutt providing full continuity of midwifery care to women/ pregnant people and their whānau in the Hutt Valley region. I prioritise taking on those choosing to birth at home and have a small caseload so that I can take the time to get to know each of my clients. I am passionate about providing individualised, empowering, and evidence-based care, and I love supporting my clients to make informed decisions throughout their pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatal journeys. I am experienced working with LGBTQIA+ individuals/whānau, and providing competent care for this community is a passion of mine. My antennal clinic is located within Te Awakairangi Birthing Centre and my clinic days are Mondays & Wednesdays.

How to Get Hold of Me

I look forward to discussing your midwifery care further, please fill out the form below or email me at jess.mamaku@gmail.com. Please include in your message to me some information about yourself and your pregnancy (including your name, estimated due date, the suburb you live in, what number baby this is for you, where you would like to birth and anything else you’d like me to know).
