Alana Mayall

Congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Alana and I am an LMC Midwife in Hamilton and its surrounding areas. Pregnancy, labour/birth and the postnatal period is such a special and unique journey to everyone, and I would be honoured to walk alongside you and your whānau throughout your journey. I aim to provide women-centred care, focusing on your individual needs. I work in partnership with the women in my care, and I will advocate for you and your wishes. I will provide you with current and evidence based information so you are able to make informed decisions throughout your journey. I will support you to birth where you feel most comfortable, at either Waikato Hospital or local birth centres. I work alongside Izzy Horne, we share the same philosophy and values in our work, and she will provide care for you while I am off call. My clinic is held at River Ridge East Birth Centre on Mondays and Fridays. I am looking forward to hearing from you and getting to share this exciting journey with you.
