Kia Ora, congratulations on your pregnancy! As a new graduate midwife, I am extremely passionate about midwifery and find it very rewarding walking alongside woman and their whanau, sharing their journey as they transition to parenthood. I believe that childbirth is a normal yet extraordinary event. Pregnancy and birth come with an array of emotions and involve every part of you, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Given the right knowledge, support and encouragement, I believe most women can birth naturally. I do however understand that nature does not always allow this and when complications occur, midwifery support, knowledge and skills can still enable a safe and positive birth experience. Ultimately, giving birth is a very individualised experience but all women should be given the opportunity to have a childbirth experience which leaves them feeling confident, respected, empowered and proud.
How to Get Hold of Me
I work in partnership with an amazing midwife Trina Buckley who shares the same passion for midwifery and holds a very similar philosophy. Together we share work under a model of shared care allowing us regular time off with our families and enabling us to provide you with the best care we can. Throughout your pregnancy you will get to know us both equally, meaning you get two awesome midwives instead of one! You can text or call me on 0275424563 on Monday-Friday, between 9am-5pm. If texting please include your name, your estimated due date or first day of your last period, what number baby this is for you, and the best number to contact you on. Otherwise feel free to contact me via email at email@example.com or fill out the enquiry form below.
