Congratulations on your pregnancy! I am passionate about midwifery and have had the privilege of working with families in my home town of Te Anau for the past 10 years. I support women through their pregnancy journey, including labour, birth and up to 6 weeks post-birth. I also offer pre-pregnancy care so that you can feel supported and informed at this early stage of your special journey. My role is to ensure that you feel empowered to make the decisions that are right for you and your family and I support these by providing you with the necessary information using a professional and confidential approach. I work with women throughout Fiordland and I can attend births at your home, Winton Maternity or Southland Hospital. I also work with other health professionals where necessary, to ensure you receive the care required should any complex issues arise. My aim is to build a caring and trusting relationship with you so that you have a positive and empowering pregnancy journey.
